What Types of Wood Does Clark Use to Carve?

There are many types of wood that Carve Me A Bear! Chainsaw Carvings uses, but the most common is pine since it is readily available in the Western United States area where Clark resides. Pine makes lightweight furniture and is a very practical choice. Other common woods used include ponderosa, cottonwood, and redwood. These are soft woods and aren’t as susceptible to cracking like hardwoods. Clark can try to accommodate any requests you might have.

How Durable is My Chainsaw Carving?

Your chainsaw carving should last for several years or more if you properly care for it. You want to treat it like you would any other piece of wooden furniture and keep it out of direct sunlight and away from dehumidifiers.
