At some stage in life it seems as if children end up loving Winnie the Pooh. The characters that are friends of Winnie the Pooh are just as great as him with some pretty outstanding personalities. Christopher Robin is the real boy that has a beloved stuffed bear he names Winnie. He dreams of his stuffed animal’s real existence in a story in a fictional space. Winnie The Pooh: We just cannot start the list without Winnie himself. The entire plot of Christopher Robin’s life is centered around this beloved bear. Winnie the Pooh is the catalyst in many of the story lines and he has some fun loving characteristics. He is a honey colored bear that has a big round belly and he wears a red shirt. He, like many bears, loves honey! He loves it so much that he is found in most of the story lines doing his best to get a smidge of honey from anyone that will share. An iconic look is when Winnie the Pooh gets stuck reaching in the truck of a tree in search of his favorite treat or digging his paw into a honey pot. He is a great friend to all and he is known for helping those around.
Eeyore: If you are looking to have a carving of a sad, slow moving friend of Pooh, then Eeyore is your guy. He is a donkey that is known for his very glum personality. He lacks self-motivation and seems to be quite pessimistic. The problem that plagues poor Eeyore is that he just cannot seem to keep his tail attached. He is always looking for a better way to keep it on and has little hope of a solution. Although he seems sad he shows up to help when the friends get together.
Piglet: The best friend of Winnie the Pooh is none other than Piglet! Of course second only to Christopher Robin, piglet is Pooh’s right hand man. These two are found in many instances where they need to show their bravery and courage. Although Piglet is very small and seems to be scared he is found showing that he can in fact do something hard with Pooh by his side. The two seem to find themselves in a position that they need to get out of. Piglet likes his small house neat and clean and put together inside a tree.
Rabbit: This character is a little tightly wound and is a rule follower. Rabbit is of course a rabbit that is known for his bossiness and telling the other characters what to do and how to do it. He doesn’t like to waste time and wants everyone to follow the rules. He talks fast and does what he can to get things in line. Even though he is bossy and believes he is the smartest animal he is still a great friend to the other characters.
Owl: This is the wisest of the characters as he should be. Owl is the one animal that many other characters look to for guidance and help with problems. The wise old owl may come across wise but he is actually quite scattered and seems to lose his train of thought quite often.
